Spider-Jesus

Hello Little Ones,

 

Spider-Jesus here again. The long Winter nights are really starting to set in now and the first snow fall of the year in these parts is making grown men act insanely. I was just moments ago asked by someone for the direction of a nearby town where he knew it was snowing, so while looking out the window he could weigh up the chances of it snowing here based on the movements of the clouds. I kid you not. Surely everyone knows if you want to devine the weather, you need to use squirrel entrails. I know that in an office environment Health and Safety tend to frown on that kind of thing, but interestingly the student staple of “9p noodles” from ADSA also work. Which isn’t as surprising as you might first think…

 

Now Children, tonight is also a Black Moon - or New Moon if you’d like - which marks the start of a new lunar cycle and an opportunity to take stock, and kick your Mojo back into gear. But how to do that?

 

A good starting place is undoutably a nice cup of Chai and a slice of cake, coupled with your favourite pen and notebook at hand and writing down a new list of things you want to do in the next four weeks. A good first item on any forward thinking list like this is: “Be Awesome”.

 

I take all the credit for the choice of Chai as the sweet and spicy herbal brew used when resetting Mojo during the Black Moon, with it’s tasty vanilla and cinnamon flavors steaming flavoursomly into the cold winters night it’s clearly perfect. If earlier in the day you made some Chai and mention it on Twitter, that’s only because your reading it here now, and the words of Spider-Jesus transand time and space. Reality-Reflective Inspiration if you like.

 

Once you’re sitting down, have a nibble of cake and sip of chai, and before you write down your Plan of Awesomeness for the next weeks, give yourself a clap. Clapping is the love child of drumming and high-fives, ergo: is Awesome. Two slow claps, followed by two quick claps is a good starting point. If you want more, just add “Change Clap Beats” to your list.

 

So there you have it, a moment of Mojo to look ahead to the coming weeks. Write it down, follow it along with the Four Step Mojo Mantra and have the best month of your life.

I just thought you’d like to know that the teaser trailer should be finding it’s way to the wilds of the interwebs in a couple of weeks as finally the raw footage  is waiting for our Video Editor to pick up. If she isn’t too busy getting a filling from a  Dentist. If she is, then it might be a call to the PhotoPixie to see if she can work her magic on it from her Nordic hide away.

 

 

Once unleashed the teaser trailer will be a random video that you might find will explaine just what, or who Spider-Jesus is and what is going on over on this bit of the web.

 

Don’t count on that however. But it will open your eyes to a whole world of mischief and confusion. The lucky few who have seen the raw footage have already had a peek into that realm of madness, and haven’t quiet been the same since. I’m pretty sure that’s a good thing…

With Hallowe’en on Friday don’t forget you need to be Maintaining Your Mojo all week ahead of the parties that are bound to occure weather they are just casually thrown together affairs, epic nights of mayhem or even if you’re sitting at home studying while wearing a silly hat. For a bit of TV to give you a midweek pick-me-up and Increase Your Mojo you could do worse then continuing with the shiny new seasons of Heroes (Season 3) and How I Met Your Mother (Season 4) or perhaps start watching The Fringe (Which, btw, I would have been watching since the begining if someone had said “New show by JJ Abrams” rather then try and actually describe it in some abstract way!) Actually, I’m not going to talk about Television shows, I’d recommend End Of Show for that. What I am going to also tempt you with as a quick and tasty Mojo booster is Strawberries or … Wait, I’ll tell you next Monday if it goes well.
